The 2007 Trekking Li Electric Bike Has Been Discontinued

The Classic transport / commute hybrid electric bike with a suspension seatpost, adjustable stem and comfort saddle. The Trekking Li comes with a PTS (Pedal Torque Sensor) system which combines rider pedaling with motor driven power.

Currie uses Valance batteries which are made using a patented phosphate based cathode material which is extremely stable in overcharge or short circuit conditions, neither prone to thermal runaway or burning, unlike inexpensive mass produced Lithium-ion batteries.

The Valence Saphion Lithium-ion batteries are the lightest and highest capacity battery with super long life. The technology offers the greatest combination of performance, service life, safety, cost, reliability and environmental characteristics. The batteries are integrated into the down tube of the bike for a clean look, and the motor is in the hub of the rear wheel.
