SHIPPING POLICIES

Electric Scooters Galore is an internet store. Our administrative offices are in Atlanta. We do not have a bricks-and-mortar storefront, and we do not maintain our own warehouse.

Orders placed on our site are drop-shipped directly from the manufacturer to your doorstep. We are dedicated to reliable, fast order fulfillment so that you can shop from the comfort of your own home, and receive your shipments in a timely and convenient manner.

  • Order as early in the day as you can - our official cut-off time for including an order in that day's batch is 3pm Eastern time. This gives us enough time to meet the manufacturers' deadlines for placing orders with them.
  • "Order Date" means the day you place your order BEFORE 3pm Eastern time. If you place your order AFTER 3pm Eastern, your order will be assigned the following day's Order Date.
  • Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday are given an Order Date of the following Monday.
  • Each of our vendors has their own processing schedule. Some need more time than others to get an order onto a delivery truck. Please check individual product pages for specifics. We will process orders as quickly as possible so that your shipment has the best chance to get to you quickly.
  • If a product is eligible for expedited shipping, you will see those listed in the Shipping Options window, just before the Add to Cart button. If you do not see Shipping Options, then your order will be shipped by standard ground shipping.



SHIPPING BEYOND THE CONTINENTAL U.S.
Our shipping rates (including Free Shipping, if it applies to a product) apply to shipments to addresses within the 48 continental United States.

Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will be assessed an additional shipping surcharge. The amount of the surcharge depends on the shipping weight of the product. Before we process orders with shipping addresses in Alaska or Hawaii, we will contact you personally to advise you of the amount of the shipping surcharge; these orders are only processed after you authorize the additional amount.



International Shipping Now Available!

SHIPPING COMPANIES
Each of our vendor companies sets their own policies about which shipping company they use. Most of our manufacturers use either FedEx Ground or UPS Ground shipment. Razor, Go-Ped, and EZIP products are shipped by FedEx. In some cases, for heavier items, other freight companies such as R&L Carriers and SAIA are used.

Please be aware that we must have time to process your order internally, and get your package onto a delivery truck, BEFORE the shipping company's delivery clock starts ticking! This internal processing can take 1 - 4 days or possibly more in some cases.

About Shipping Guarantees: All major shipping companies have exceptions to their guarantees in the case of inclement weather or other unforeseen disruptions. There also may be exceptions due to unexpected additional volume (beyond the normal holiday seasons increase). PLEASE NOTE: During December, major shipping companies do not guarantee their ground shipping timetables (due to holiday volume).




FREE SHIPPING FOR MOST PRODUCTS

If your product is eligible for Free Shipping, our Free Shipping policy ONLY applies to the initial shipment to the Ship-To address that you provide when your order is placed. Exchanges and returns are not eligible for Free Shipping, even if that product was eligible for Free Shipping when it was first ordered. In addition, if you refuse the shipment of a product ordered by you, and/or if you change the Ship-To address after the order has been placed with the manufacturer, then any additional shipping costs will be charged to you.


TYPICAL SHIPPING TIMEFRAMES
After your order is placed with our store (either online or by phone), we process your order promptly - usually within a few minutes, during our administrative hours of 9am - 6pm, Monday through Friday.

Then the manufacturer will schedule your vehicle to go on a delivery truck - this scheduling process typically takes 1 - 3 days.

Transit time by ground shipping can take as little as 1 business day (if you live near the warehouse), or up to 5 - 7 business days in some cases.

Thus, the typical length of time between order placement and receiving your shipment is 1 - 2 weeks (5 - 10 business days).


EXPEDITED SHIPPING
Many of the products we offer weigh more than 50 pounds in their shipping box (some are more than 100 lbs.). In most cases, expedited shipping is expensive - it can cost as much as or more than the item itself. This is true even for 3rd-day shipping, which does not get there much faster than regular ground shipping, which usually takes only 2 - 5 days.

ONLINE TRACKING OF YOUR SHIPMENT
After we get the tracking number for your order from the manufacturer, that information is entered into our system, and you will receive an automatic email with instructions about how to follow online the progress of your package.


SHIPPING DAMAGE
In the vast majority of cases, products ordered through our site arrive with no problem. However, occasional damage during shipping does occur. Our company policy, and our promise to you, is that we will respond quickly and persistently to any shipping problem, and we will follow through in a timely manner to be sure you receive an undamaged, fully working vehicle.

If your product arrives with obvious damage to the box, and if you have the opportunity to speak to the delivery person, please REFUSE THE SHIPMENT and send it back to the manufacturer. Then CONTACT US RIGHT AWAY so that we can arrange for an undamaged replacement.

If you do not have the opportunity to refuse a damaged shipment, or if the damage is not obvious until the box is opened, please CONTACT US RIGHT AWAY. We will put you in touch with the appropriate department for troubleshooting the extent of the damage.

Often, problems can be solved by sending replacement parts that will be shipped at no charge to you. In other situations, we will direct you to a nearby authorized repair shop. If the damage is beyond repair, we will issue a "call tag" to pick up the damaged vehicle, and we will also ship a replacement to you.

In those rare cases of a return & replacement, the manufacturer will have to make a claim with the shipping company. We have to provide evidence of the damage as part of the claims process, so we will ask you to take photos of the damage (to the box, and to the product also) and send those by email - call us for technical advice if this process is difficult for you.
