The Go Motorboard 2000XR and 2000XR+ are not toys. We don't even like to call them "scooters". We call them Motorboards. They are serious transportation devices with a top speed of 15mph, giving them the capacity to cover a lot of ground in urban environments. What's even more incredible is that the 2000XR and 2000XR+ can be easily folded up, and are light enough and small enough to be carried on the subway, train, bus, or into the classroom or workplace.

The experts at Roth Motor Company have chosen to use cutting-edge, nanotechnology batteries from A123 Systems to power the 2000XR and 2000XR+. These incredible batteries are perfectly matched to the Motorboards, giving them amazing speed, and yet these awesome little machines weigh only about 17 pounds. (Other scooters can weigh 50 pounds or more.)

The Go Motorboard can be fully charged in under 120 minutes. And, unlike most other electric scooters out there, the 2000XR and 2000XR+ can be kick-scooted due to our patent-pending free-wheeling technology, so even if your battery does die, you won't be stranded ("kick-scoot", or "push-scoot", means to keep one foot on the deckboard, and push or kick with the other foot so that you move forward).

Which brings us to a discussion about the range of the Motorboard. Under average conditions, one full charge of the 2000XR battery pack will take you 5 - 6 miles.

This range can be extended in three ways:

Choose the 2000XR+ option, which increases the range by 50% - travel up to 8 miles in average conditions
Kick-scoot whenever you can - this is a breeze on the Motorboard with its free-wheeling capabilities
Plug in and get a quick re-charge while you are at a coffee shop, office, classroom, or other destination of your choice
